Army Slang

Hot date = Amounts to having dinner at an Army Chow facility with your Husband and 20 other guys who decided to come along too.

Sweet Ride = Having to wear a helmet in your brand new "SUV" (Army truck) sharing it with 15 friends and of course no A/C. Next time I spend $80, 000 on a vehicle remind me, get the A/C

Date Night = Watching a movie on your Laptop with your Husband on his bunk bed while his 2 roommates stare at you or switch it up and sit in my room and have my 2 roommates stare at Justin.

Service Project = Knocking all the mud off each others boots, from the days training, so we won't have to scrub the barracks hall floors instead. As Justin says just like the good ol' days.
Limo Service = An 8 Million Dollar ride that Justin and I get to ride in the back of and have our Limo drivers "Pilots" taxi us around. No tip necessary!!

A month down

So another day closer to coming home. We look forward to getting overseas so we can have a little freedom. Training is non-stop. Chevy had a chance to see what it is like to fly, she just forgot the aircraft. She fell backwards off the mountain but still finished the 7 mile hike. Pretty tough, rolled ankle, chipped tooth and bruised chin, just another day in the army. Justin is just doing what he does best, b.s.ing his way through all the training and is stilling reigning Miss. Congeniality.

Leaving - SLC

As most of you know we departed Salt Lake City on Feb 20th to deploy in support of Freedom. I have posted pictures of both farewells.

Even though Justin and I are together it was still really hard to leave all of you behind. Next time we see that crowd we will be coming home, now that is a great thought! Thank you for coming out, it really meant a lot to us.
I guess we will have more to follow. I actually have Justin on here blogging so all of you beware.
